This Privacy Policy explains how Panda Music Player-MP3 Player ("the App", "we", "our") handles your information. We built this app with a simple principle: your music and your personal files stay on your device. We do not require an account, and we do not collect, sell, or share your personal files.
1.Information the App Accesses on Your Device
- Music & audio files: The App reads audio files stored on your device so it can play them. Your music files never leave your device and are never uploaded to any server.
- Photos (optional): If you choose a photo from your gallery as an app theme or wallpaper, a copy is saved only inside the App's private storage on your device. It is never uploaded anywhere.
- System settings (optional): If you use the "Set as ringtone" feature, the App requests permission to modify system settings solely to set your chosen song as your ringtone. This is done only when you use the feature.
- Notifications: Used to show the music playback controls and occasional app update announcements. You can turn announcements off any time in the App's Notification settings.
2.App Permissions Explained
Below is the complete list of permissions the App declares, and exactly why each one is used. The App never uses a permission for any purpose other than what is described here.

3.Information Collected Automatically (Third-Party Services)
The App itself does not collect personal information. However, the following trusted third-party services used by the App may collect limited data as described in their own privacy policies:
- Google AdMob (advertising): The App shows three ad formats to non-Premium users — a small banner in the player, an occasional full-screen interstitial, and an app-open ad when launching the App. To serve and measure these ads, Google AdMob may collect your device's resettable Advertising ID, approximate location derived from IP address, device model, and app interaction data, as described in Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses data in AdMob. You can reset or delete your Advertising ID and opt out of ad personalisation in your device's Google settings. Premium users are never shown ads.
- Google Play Billing (purchases & subscriptions): All Premium purchases are processed entirely by Google Play's secure billing system. We never see, receive, or store your payment details (card numbers, banking or wallet information). Google provides us only with an anonymous purchase confirmation so the App can unlock Premium.
- Google Firebase (Google LLC): The App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver optional app announcements (push notifications), and Cloud Firestore / Realtime Database to fetch remote app configuration such as home-screen banners, this privacy policy link, and developer information. To deliver notifications, Firebase processes an anonymous device token and basic device information. No personal identity is attached to this data. See the Firebase Privacy documentation.
- Lyrics service (LRCLIB): When you view lyrics (a Premium feature), the App sends only the song title, artist name, and duration of the currently playing track to the free LRCLIB service to find matching lyrics. No personal information is sent.
4.How We Use Information & App Features
The App's features include: local music playback with background play, playlists, search, sleep timer, playback speed, gapless playback, crossfade and volume controls, synced lyrics (Premium), custom themes and accent colours, full-screen photo wallpapers (Premium), changeable app icons (Premium), "Set as ringtone", multi-language support (31 languages), and optional announcements. Information is used only to:
- To play your local music and provide the app features listed above (themes, ringtones, lyrics).
- To show ads to non-Premium users and remove ads for Premium users.
- To process and restore Premium purchases through Google Play.
- To send occasional app announcements, which you can disable in the App's settings.
5.Premium Subscription & Purchases
The App offers an optional Premium upgrade that removes all advertisements and unlocks extra features (synced lyrics, exclusive app icons, and full-screen photo wallpapers). Three options are available through Google Play:
- Monthly subscription — renews automatically every month until cancelled.
- Yearly subscription — renews automatically every year until cancelled.
- Lifetime — a one-time purchase, no renewal.
- Prices are shown in your local currency inside the App and on Google Play before you confirm any purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel any time in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions — cancelling stops future charges and Premium remains active until the period ends.
- Purchases can be restored on a new device with the "Restore purchases" button inside the App, using the same Google account.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play under Google Play's refund policy.
6.Data Storage & Security
Your preferences (theme, language, settings, Premium status) are stored locally on your device. Payments are secured by Google Play. Communication with our services uses encrypted HTTPS connections. If you uninstall the App, all locally stored App data is removed from your device.
7.Advertising ID
The App declares the com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID permission, which is required by Google AdMob to display advertisements on Android 13 and above. The Advertising ID is used only for advertising and analytics purposes by Google AdMob, and you may reset or delete it at any time from your device's privacy settings. Premium users are not shown ads.
8.Children's Privacy
The App is a general-audience music player and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.
9.Your Choices & Rights
- Turn off push notifications inside the App (Settings → Notification settings) or in your device settings.
- Reset or delete your Advertising ID in your device's Google settings, or opt out of ad personalisation.
- Remove all App data by uninstalling the App.
- Manage or cancel Premium subscriptions any time via the Google Play Store.

10.Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
